- Yes, I am. I am a teacher.

- No, I am not. I am not a teacher.

3. Grammar (Граматика)        

                    There is/There are

    We use There is (for one thing) to say what exists. But we use There are for more than one thing.

    Ми використовуємо There is (є для однини для одної речі), щоб сказати де вона існує, знаходиться. А There are ми використовуємо (є для множини для більш ніж одної речі).

 

There is a book on the desk. -На парті (є) книга.

There are books on the desk. - На парті (є) книги.

Такі речення з There is / There are , як правило, ми перекладаємо з кінця.

При перекладі слово є можемо упускати.

          My name is _________. I am a student. I go to school number 25. 

My school is very big. There is a nice classroom in it.

There are ______ desks, _______chairs and a board in the classroom. Also, there is a teacher 's desk. There is a computer on it. There is a clock on the wall. Also, you can see some posters, maps  and pictures on the wall.

There are a lot of toys on the carpet. This is my favourite place in the classroom. Look! There are some pens and books on the floor! What a mess!
